Things to know before the excursion

In Segesta we recommend visiting both the Doric temple and the theatre, for the climb to the theater it is highly recommended (as it is a steep climb) to use the internal shuttle offered by the archaeological park, which costs €2.00 for a return trip.

In Erice we recommend visiting the famous "Baglio" with the medieval castles where it is possible to admire unique views such as the Saline, the Egadi islands up to San Vito lo Capo, walk through the historic center, taste the famous desserts that can be find only in Erice, and visit the Sanctuary.

Discover the magic of Erice

Suspended between sky and sea, Erice enchants its visitors with its medieval charm and breathtaking views that extend to the Sicilian coast. Located on the top of Monte San Giuliano, also known as Monte Erice, this fascinating city is an essential stop for anyone wishing to explore the wonders of Sicily.

Erice is also famous for its traditional desserts, such as the famous “Genovesi Ericine”, almond pastries or sesame desserts, which can be enjoyed in the numerous pastry shops in the historic centre.
